ABOUT US
Changing the way we feed our soil and revolutionizing lawn care with sustainable, natural solutions
At Midwest Compost Solutions, we're committed to finding better alternatives to traditional chemical fertilizers. We believe in creating thick, dark green lawns while protecting our environment and water sources. We recognize that high nitrate levels in our streams, rivers, and drinking water are a growing concern. Chemical fertilizers from both agricultural and residential lawn care are significant contributors to this problem. With lawn care services offering 4, 5, and even 6 applications per year, it's time to reconsider our approach. Our goal is to inform and educate our community and surrounding areas about the benefits of natural compost fertilizer as a sustainable alternative that delivers results without compromising our environment.
Our Story
From Farm to Foundation
Midwest Compost Solutions Inc was born out of a lifelong commitment to the agricultural industry. Growing up on the farm, raising cattle, managing crops, and utilizing manure and compost, we saw firsthand the powerful and significant impact that quality soil amendments have on crop yield and overall health.
This understanding of soil science drove us to want to bring the same proven benefits into the residential market. What started as a mission to make compost topdressing a common practice in our community has quickly grown. Today, we offer equipment, products, and a variety of services, all while educating the public and continually advancing our own knowledge to promote healthier growth—one yard at a time. We’ve enjoyed the journey so far and look forward to what God has planned for the future.
What We Do
Natural Solutions
We offer screened compost as an alternative to chemical fertilizers, adding natural biology and health back into your soil. This improves your soil’s natural ability to feed your lawn’s root system.
Water Conservation
Our compost holds moisture longer, providing a slow release of nitrogen throughout the season. This means healthier grass with less watering and no harmful leaching into water systems.
Education & Support
We educate homeowners about their options for achieving the greenest, thickest lawn on the block using sustainable methods that benefit both your yard and the environment.
